Ulysses by James Joyce (1922)

Ulysses is a novel by Irish author James Joyce, first published in 1922. It follows the life of Leopold Bloom, an Irish Jew, and his adventures through the streets of Dublin on June 16, 1904, known as "Bloomsday." Along the way, Bloom interacts with a variety of characters, including his wife Molly, Stephen Dedalus, and a host of other colorful characters. The novel is divided into 18 episodes, each of which is written in a different style, ranging from stream-of-consciousness to parody. Ulysses is considered one of the most important works of modernist literature, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest novels of all time.
