Anne of Avonlea
The story revolves around Anne Shirley, a young orphan girl who is sent to live with an elderly brother and sister, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, in their farm called Green Gables. The Cuthberts had intended to adopt a boy to help them with the farm work, but due to a misunderstanding, they get Anne instead. Despite the initial disappointment, Anne's charm and imagination win over the hearts of the Cuthberts, and she becomes an integral part of their lives.
