The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a classic American novel by Mark Twain. It follows the adventures of a young boy named Huckleberry Finn and his friend Jim, a runaway slave, as they travel down the Mississippi River in search of freedom. Along the way, they encounter a variety of characters, including the King and Duke, two con men who try to swindle the people they meet. They also meet the Grangerfords, a wealthy family whose feud with the Shepherdsons leads to a violent confrontation.
Huck and Jim eventually make it to Cairo, Illinois, where they plan to take a steamboat to the free states. However, they are separated when Jim is captured and sold back into slavery. Huck embarks on a daring mission to rescue Jim, and in the process, he learns valuable lessons about friendship, loyalty, and courage. In the end, Huck and Jim are reunited and make it to freedom.
