Norman Gale (1850-1910) was an English poet and songwriter. He was born in London and educated at King's College, London. He wrote several books of poetry, including Cricket Songs (1894), which was a collection of poems about cricket. He also wrote several books of songs, including The English Song Book (1897) and The National Song Book (1902). He was a member of the Royal Society of Literature and was awarded the Order of Merit in 1908. He died in 1910 in London.
