In a small town, a mysterious figure appears and begins to create grotesque creatures from the townspeople's deepest fears. The creations are so realistic that they seem alive, causing chaos and terror among the residents. As the figure continues to create more monsters, the townspeople become increasingly paranoid and violent towards each other, unsure of who is human and who is a monster.
