Abbey Asaroe is a novel by William Allingham, first published in 1867. It tells the story of a young Irish girl, Abbey Asaroe, who is sent to live with her aunt in England. There, she meets a mysterious stranger, who turns out to be a prince from a far-off land. He is on a quest to find a magical stone that will restore his kingdom to its former glory. In the end, Abbey and the prince are able to restore his kingdom and live happily ever after.
