Fox B. Holden was an American author and journalist who wrote several books in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in New York City in 1921 and attended Columbia University. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a correspondent for the Associated Press in Europe. Holden wrote several books, including Dearest Enemy (1956), The Last of the Big Guns (1958), and The Last of the Big Guns: The Story of the USS Missouri (1960). He also wrote several articles for magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post and Collier's. Holden died in 1967 at the age of 46.
