John Keats

John Keats (1795-1821) was an English Romantic poet. He is one of the most beloved and influential poets in the English language. His works are known for their vivid imagery, sensual language, and exploration of the human condition. He is best known for his odes, including "Ode to a Nightingale" and "Ode on a Grecian Urn." He also wrote a number of narrative poems, including "The Eve of St. Agnes" and "Lamia." Keats was born in London and studied medicine at Guy's Hospital. He was a passionate reader and wrote poetry from an early age. He was deeply influenced by the works of William Shakespeare, Edmund Spenser, and John Milton. He died of tuberculosis at the age of 25, leaving behind a legacy of some of the most beautiful and enduring poetry in the English language.
