Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm

The story revolves around a young orphan girl named Rebecca Winton who lives with her cruel and abusive aunt on a farm called Sunnybrook. The aunt's cruelty drives Rebecca to run away from home and seek refuge in the nearby town of Riverboro, where she meets a kind-hearted woman named Aunt Miranda. Aunt Miranda takes Rebecca under her wing and teaches her how to be independent and self-sufficient. Rebecca also meets a group of children who become her friends, including a boy named Johnnie Boulter. As Rebecca settles into her new life in Riverboro, she faces various challenges and learns valuable lessons about kindness, hard work, and the importance of family.
