Winston K. Marks (1917-2006) was an American author and journalist. He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a correspondent for the Associated Press in Europe. After the war, he wrote for the New York Times and other publications. Marks wrote several novels, including Forsyte's Retreat (1954), The Last of the Forsytes (1956), and The Forsyte Saga (1958). He also wrote several non-fiction books, including The Story of the Jews (1962) and The Story of the Arabs (1965). He was a member of the Authors Guild and the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
