Uncle Wiggily, an elderly rabbit, is feeling the effects of age, with aches and pains troubling him. Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy, his housekeeper, suggests that having a lively companion might rejuvenate him. While out in the woods, Uncle Wiggily hears a voice calling for help from a hollow stump. He discovers Baby Bunty, a young rabbit girl who had been trapped after hiding from a fox. Uncle Wiggily frees her, and Bunty immediately brings energy into his life by engaging him in a game of tag. This playful interaction makes Uncle Wiggily feel younger and more spry. Nurse Jane's suggestion proves correct, as the presence of the lively Bunty invigorates Uncle Wiggily, helping him overcome his stiffness and aches.
