Uncle Wiggily and Bunty's Ride

Uncle Wiggily, a rabbit gentleman, is preparing for a leisurely ride in his automobile, which features a new turnip steering wheel. Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy, a muskrat lady, reminds him to take a pepper caster to sprinkle on the sausage tires for speed. Despite his initial intention to drive, Uncle Wiggily decides to rest in the sun, easing his rheumatic joints. Baby Bunty, a lively rabbit girl Uncle Wiggily had previously rescued, urges him to play tag. He declines, preferring to relax. However, Bunty mischievously takes the opportunity to jump into the automobile, sprinkles pepper on the tires, and speeds off. Nurse Jane alerts Uncle Wiggily, who quickly springs into action, chasing after the runaway vehicle. As Bunty rides faster, she realizes she cannot stop the car and calls for help. Uncle Wiggily, invigorated by the urgency, catches up, jumps into the car, and safely stops it before it crashes. Bunty admits she wanted to entice Uncle Wiggily into a ride, but he warns her against such antics in the future. Despite the scare, Uncle Wiggily appreciates Bunty's spirited nature.
