Uncle Wiggily and Bunty's Shoes

Uncle Wiggily, a bunny rabbit gentleman, is asked by Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy, his muskrat lady housekeeper, to go to the store to pick up shoes for Baby Bunty, a lively little rabbit girl. Uncle Wiggily, who suffers from rheumatism, is initially hesitant but agrees to go since he doesn't have to take Bunty along. However, Bunty overhears the conversation and insists on accompanying him. Uncle Wiggily reluctantly agrees, warning her not to make him hop too much due to his stiff joints. As they reach the shoe store, Uncle Wiggily collects the shoes without any issues. Bunty, eager to wear her new shoes, suggests they hurry home. However, she suddenly claims the shoes might be missing laces, prompting a return to the store. The rat gentleman at the store confirms the laces are indeed in the shoes, and they set off again, this time at a faster pace. Their quick return proves fortuitous as they encounter the Pipsisewah, a mischievous creature, who attempts to snatch the shoes. Thanks to their speed, Uncle Wiggily and Bunty evade the Pipsisewah and safely reach home. Bunty tries on her shoes, which fit perfectly, and Uncle Wiggily finds that the exercise has eased his stiffness.
